Thomas Jonathan “Stonewall” Jackson (1824-63) is shown in the portrait above the actual shoulder epaulettes he wore during the Mexican War (1846-48) shortly after graduating from West Point.

The original Battle Flag of the 19th Georgia Infantry under the command of COL John H. Neal is proudly displayed among the many flags in the museum.
